Joe and Cindy met at the Case Highschool dance in 1967 (Swansea, MA). Soon after, Joe invited Cindy to his 16th birthday party. They married two years later, and they've been together ever since.

Casey is from Seatle, WA and Jessica (Jess) is from San Francisco, CA. The two happened to meet in 1984 at a little night spot in El Cerrito, CA called "The Station." They have now been married for a wonderful 26 years.

I remember Brandon from junior high. In high school we started to form a friendship. In college he became one of my best friends. Brandon is a great friend to have, and one of the coolest guys around. There isn't anything he can't do.

We were 13 going on 30! SWV, TLC, and Jodeci filled the air. We would have sleepovers throughout high school painting our nails and singing along to the Beatles and Green Day. Michele's family always welcomed me at the dinner table. To this day I am so thankful to enjoy the simplicities of life together.

We met while working together at the UCSB Financial Aid Office. When we finally got to hang outside of work out hearts melted together as we wrote poetry and drew into the twilight hours. Sharing our life stories brings release and compassion where the sun offers warmth to our souls.

I remember the evening we met and couldn't stop talking. It was kizmit! I think it was the end of our second year at UCSB and she had just started dating Brandon. We enjoyed the Isla Vista life and later lived together. Like other close families, her Argentine family adopted me.

Amari is Eric's Godson. Eric's best friend Kashi and wife Carmen Jones were blessed with Amari on October 15th, 2009 which is also Christina's birthday! Amari is the cutest little guy ever.

Ms. Ariana Fany was brought into this world on July 8, 2010 by her loving parents Mr. Masoud and Rachel Fany. This little angel quickly warms your heart and is a true gift.

James is Eric's brother from another mother. Ever since the diaper days, Eric's mother used to push them around Point Richmond, CA in a double baby stroller. They became best friends through the years of elementary school to high school and beyond.

Eric and Christina have known Karen (aka Nikki) and Jimmy for some time now. Eric met Karen in kindergarten and Christina met Karen in elementary. Christina met Jimmy at Portola middle school and then Eric got to know him more at ECHS where Jimmy gave Eric his first copy of Photoshop ever! The Leungs were married in beautiful Costa Rica, and soon after brought their handsome son Mason into the world.

Christina met Janice at Portola middle school and they were friends through high school. Eric and Christina later both met Janice's then boyfriend, Adrian, while Janice was in college at UCSD. They thought Adrian was pretty cool and had a great sense of humor. Janice and Adrian demonstrate all the aspects of a loving relationship. They were married in beautiful Las Vegas, and soon after they brought their little guy Anthony into the world. Aunite Christina and Uncle Eric love to spend quality time with this incredible family.

Eric and his cousin Dominic grew up together as best buddies. Dom is a huge part of Eric's childhood. Highly motivated in everything he does, Dom is an inspiration to everyone around him.

Eric's cousin Tiffany is one smart banana! When Eric was younger, spending the summer in Massacusetts with all his cousins meant the world to him. Cousins are the best! Tiffany is like a sister to both Eric and Christina.

Eric's first friend from kindergarten, and one of his best friends. Wes is kinda like a big deal. He taught Eric how to brew beer, and together they brew under the Mash Brothers moniker. Wes will be brewing a special Simcoe / Amarillo I.P.A. recipe for the wedding with assistant brewer Eric.

Sarah is a hard-working individual who has one of the biggest hearts. Her compassion and understanding is clearly reflected in her friendships. When you meet her beautiful daughter Natalia, you know she is an incredible mother. A longtime friend who will be providing our catering service and in so doing missing our ceremony. When you see her at the reception, please show some love!

Where

Our celebration will take place at the beautiful UC Berkeley Botanical Garden . The address is 200 Centennial Drive, Berkeley, CA. There is plenty of parking since we have purchased the lot for our guests.

Please follow the route provided due to road closures that day for the Cal football game. Please allow an additional 25 minutes when planning your arrival.

The ceremony will be at the Botanical Garden's Redwood Grove, followed by a reception dinner and kickin' dance party at the Garden's Community Center location right next to the ceremony site, just a short walk away.

How

For our out of town guests, we recommend flying into the Oakland Airport
(airport code OAK) but San Francisco Airport (SFO) is fine too.

For Hotels, Berkeley has some nice and affordable locations. You will be close to the ceremony and also close to our home (7 mi). The Berkeley DoubleTree has nice views of the Bay.

Bay Area fall weather (late summer) is typically warm (70s - 80s), but could get chilly once the sun goes down. The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside/outside, so be sure to bring a light jacket just in case.
